Trust The Father Who Leads You Well in the Wilderness

Last night as my friend and I were driving home from a worship night, she had missed an exit for us to take and the GPS did its job to re-route us.

The darkness of the night made it hard to see so she wondered if she should take the exit and the way the GPS was taking us.

I encouraged her I think we should it is still leading us back home. She spoke about things currently happening in her own life, how hard it is to trust the process and how she was a little fearful if the direction of her life was the right way.

The Lord spoke to me as I replied back to her as i was reminded of a part of my story: “trust the Father who leads you well through the wilderness”.

When we refer to Jesus as our Father it should give us a sense of peace knowing that like any good dad, he will lead us well. He knows the way through the wilderness and he knows how to get us back home, safely.

Are we TRUSTING in Him to get us where we need to go in our daily lives? If we rely so much on a GPS how much more can we TRUST the Lord knows the way for us?

Let HIM take the lead.
As my favorite verse in the Bible says:
“ For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Before we were born He has plans for our lives to bring us away from disaster and into a good future.

Our action step is to us to TRUST our Father God has what is best for us and to let Him LEAD the way just like a trusty GPS who guides us back home, even in the darkness, even in the wilderness.

He knows the way home
